Why I Built Endure Crypto
While working with crypto users over the past few years, I kept hearing the same pattern:
- Hardware wallets
- Air-gapped backups
- Multi-signature setups
- Seed phrases stored offline
But when I asked a simple question — "What happens if you're no longer here?" — most of them had no clear answer.
Many assumed their family would somehow figure it out. Others planned to write the seed phrase on paper or include it in a will, which creates a completely different set of security problems.
Unlike traditional bank accounts, there's usually no institution that can help recover access. If the information is lost, the assets may be inaccessible forever.
That observation led me to build Endure Crypto, a service focused on helping crypto holders create a secure inheritance plan without exposing their keys during their lifetime.
The goal isn't to replace custody services. It's to solve a very specific problem: making sure the right people can access digital assets when the time comes, while keeping them protected beforehand.
I'm still early in the journey and would really appreciate feedback.
Questions I'd love your opinion on
- How have you planned the inheritance of your crypto assets?
- What solutions do you trust today?
- What would stop you from using a service like this?
- Are there security or legal concerns you think every solution in this space should address?
I'd love to hear your thoughts — especially the critical ones.
